June 7, 2008

It has been a couple of months since the last update. It has been a busy two months. David's mom (Julie) had emergency surgery early in May. She is recovered now. Daddy David had to take up the slack. Little D. is growing everyday and is very busy. He keeps us on our toes. David and Julie were busy with the last month of school and the children were ready for the summer weeks ago. David will be working all summer with his job and Julie is still waiting to hear if she will have a job for the summer. We can only pray. Right now, it is a beautiful Saturday morning with the sun shining. It has been awhile. We are sitting on the deck watching Little d play and watching the birds fly in and out of the garden. I think they are happy that it is sunny also.

I can not believe that tomorrow June 8, little David with be 15 months old. How the time flies. He has learned many things during those months we are still amazed everyday with the new things Little D learns. It has been a fun experience.

Little David's Day Care

Enjoy the photos and meet some of his friends at school.

Little David and the Dog (Jack)

Little David is enjoying his time with Jack the dog. They seem to get alone pretty well. It helps that jack is 10 years old. In this picture Little D was resting with Jack and the black lab stuff animal. Just before this Jack was laying his head on the stuff animal. How sweet.

Out Like a Lion

Well, what a way to end the month of March. It has been snowing all day with the possibility of 5 to 9 inches. The beginning of March was pretty nice but since than it been cold, wet, and snowy. What a day for the MN Twins opener.

As we were sitting down to dinner this evening Julie turns and said to me, look at all those birds eating from the bird feeder. There must have been a hundred birds in the trees and on the ground. It was a pretty cool sight to see.

Little David like the the snow so much that we had to put his highchair by the patio door so he could look outside. He has always like the outdoors.

The birds are the black things in the middle of the picture.

David's First Hair Cut

Today was a first for little David. As his hair was getting longer, and longer mom and dad could not wait any more to get his first hair cut. Little David did a wonderful job of just sitting their on mom's lap. Angie the hairstylist is the greatest. She even gave Little David a toy to play with during the hair cut. Angie has a little girl of her own about six months older than Little David so we knew she would do a great job. Auntie Kari was also there to take in his fist hair cut and help distract him. Thanks Kari.

Here is a video of the experience. Hope you enjoy it has much as we all did!!

Little D when he was just born.

I was going through some pictures this last weekend and found this video, so I thought I would share his early days with Daddy.

Little David at his first swim lesson

Julie and Little D enjoying the fist swim lesson. It was exciting to see Little D and Julie in the water together. It is very good for the both of them. Julie does not always like the water. Daddy David was on the deck taking pictures and being very proud of both of them. Kari was also there for this event before she left for Washington.

Little David at the Minnesota Harvest

Julie and Little D experiencing an apple tree. The leaves and Apples are sure fun to look at.

The wagon ride out to the apples was very fun and Little D was having lots of fun looking around at the many trees full of apples.

Little D Had a fun day learning about apples but it was time to go home.

I can't believe it has been 6 months

Dear all,

I can not believe it has been 6 month sense Little David was born. The time has gone so quickly. I can not believe it myself. I enjoy everyday with little David. He has learned so much over this short time. I have also learned lots of things about being a father and a husband. It is very fun being a father to my son. I could not have asked for anything better. Anyways I hope to update this on a more regularly when time allows.
